621 Electric Building

The 621 Building, located at the NE corner of Broadway and Alder, is a classic historic building. The nine story building offers location, downtown views and classic style. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, The “Electric Building” was the original home of Portland General Electric. At one time, the exterior of the building was lit up with over 1,100 light bulbs to remind downtown shoppers to buy electrical service for their homes. The building has only enhanced its lively feel, thanks to its location (one block from Pioneer Square and the MAX). The suites in the 621 Building are flexible space that can be altered to suit just any need, and the building continues to be improved and upgraded — most recently with the installation of new elevators, exterior paint and lobby upgrades. The building is wired with Comcast cable and will soon offer fiber access. The 621 Building has on-site owner/management as well as full time building engineer for the best service and response.
